  1. Complete the 8/31 & 9/2 Bell Ringer.

  2. View the Summarizing PowerPoint (above) and complete the Summarizing Notes.

  3. Complete the 60-Second Disney Movie Activity.

    Directions: You and your table will create a 60-second summary skit of a Disney movie I have assigned to you.

    Your skit must fulfill the following requirements:

    • A skit that serves as an accurate summary of the group’s assigned Disney movie

    • 55-60 seconds in length

    • Every group member has at least two (2) lines of dialogue

    • The skit contains a beginning, middle, and end

    • The skit depicts the movie’s key conflict or problem

    • The skit depicts the movie’s resolution

    • The skit contains at least two (2) key phrases from the movie

    • The skit portrays at least three (3) key scenes from the movie

    Every person in your group must have a speaking role.

    Practice, practice, practice! The more you practice your skit, the easier presenting will be.
