1. Complete the 3/14 & 3/15 Bell Ringer.

2. Read Chapter 7 and complete the Chapter 7 Assignment.

   • With your table, you will create a poster depicting how an author uses a particular technique to illustrate a theme.

   • What your poster should contain:

     • 5 pieces of evidence cited in MLA to illustrate the technique

     • The technique (word choice / figurative language / characterization / foreshadowing / tone / imagery / symbolism / irony)

     • Author's purpose - why are they using these techniques? What are they trying to prove/show?

     • Your original theme statement

   • What you submit on Canvas: Each person should upload a clear picture of their poster
