February 15 & 16, 2023
Agenda
Play the 2/15 & 2/16 Bell Ringer Game.
Directions: You are going to play a game that is a twist on the “Heads Up!” game by Ellen DeGeneres. In this version, we'll play with characters from the novel Animal Farm by George Orwell.
Here’s how to play:
Each player will be given a playing card with a number on one side and a character from Animal Farm by George Orwell on the other.
Without looking at their card, each player will hold it up to their forehead for everyone else at the table to see.
One at a time, each player will ask their fellow tablemates a question about their character. The question can only be answered with a yes or no.
For example: “Is my character a pig?” or “Did my character have a speech in the book?”
Players should mark a tally for each question they have to ask before figuring out what character they are. The goal is to ask as few questions as possible to guess correctly.
Keep track of what character everyone at your table is.
The game continues until everyone at your table has had a turn.
Please complete the Gulag Assignment.
Directions: There are six different stations to complete.
